Ceremony and draw for the contest Friday June 5th 2026 – 6.30pm – Royal Castle of Amboise (free entrance for the competitors) – mini concert offered by Flixton Band (UK) – distribution of files and order of presentation to the competitors.

International Brass Band Competition 
Saturday June 6th 2026 – 8.00am – 12.00  pm and 2h00 pm/4h30 pm –  Beaumarchais Theatre –

Théatre Beaumarchais – The order of passage is based on the sections, the smallest conpeting first.

March Music Competition
Saturday June 6th2026 – 10.00am – 12,00pm – Place Michel Debré

Fo all competitors in the French Open, the competitors position themselves in Place Henry d’Orléans and parade to the competition venue. After playing their marching music, they return to Place Henry d’Orléans, parading, every 10 minutes.

Exceptional – Guest ensemble – The Bersaglieri – Italian military ensemble performing while running – will provide entertainment for the Saturday and will open the march music competition;

To honor our thirtieth anniversary, we have the great honor to welcome as the star guest, at the Gala Concert on Saturday evening, the famous international trumpeter Sergeï Nakariakov, renowned throughout the world and described by all as the “Paganini of the trumpet” for his technical virtuosity and the “Caruso of the instrument” for his lyricism.

It is the Brass Band AToursdebrass that will delight you during the concert-show on Sunday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., square des AFN (opposite the Tourist Office).

AToursdeBrass is much more than just a musical ensemble: it is a real artistic adventure that highlights the richness of brass and percussion music, the dynamism of its musicians, its desire to reach as many people as possible and of course all this in a good mood!

During this concert-show, he will perform Brass Band pieces, Jazz pieces as well as pieces for soloist (flugelhorn, cornet or trombone). Come and attend this free concert in town, offered by the Tourist Office.
